Our coaching staff has worked together for many years and continuously look for ways to improve their craft to help student athletes be the best version of themselves.

Marco DiRuocco
Coach DiRuocco has been the head varsity baseball coach since the spring of 2006. He has over 190 wins with five league titles, a Class A sectional finalist in 2010 and a Class A sectional title in 2012. In his tenure, he has been named League Coach of the Year three times (2007, 2010, 2012) and Class A Coach of the Year in spring 2010. He has reached the semi-finals 5 times and has five - 15 win seasons. Coach DiRuocco graduated from SUNY Cortland in spring 2001 and has been a physical education teacher since fall 2001 at the Louis M. Klein Middle School where he continues to enjoy working with students in grades 6-8. He also serves as the head modified football coach since 2001 and coached modified basketball from 2001-2019. Coach DiRuocco looks forward to another successful camp week as we develop the fundamentals of baseball!

Matt Ciraco
Coach Ciraco (Cici) is coached for 9 years as assistant varsity baseball coach to Marco DiRuocco. Coach Cici is the head coach of the junior varsity football program at Harrison. During High School, Coach Cici played Football, Basketball, Baseball and Winter Track. He earned 1st-Team All-State honors in football helping lead the team to two sectional titles. He was the Player of the Year in Section I. He was a Con Edison Award winner and received the end of the year "Doc" Blanford Special Achievement Award. He earned All-Section honors his junior and senior year in baseball batting over .500. Coach Cici played 1 year at The Perkiomen School in Pennsylvania as a post-graduate student. There he set the school record with a batting average of .688. He finished his career playing Division I Baseball at LeMoyne College in Syracuse. In 2012 he helped his team win the NE-10 Conference. Aside from sports, Cici is in his 8th year teaching Spanish at Harrison High School and lives in Valhalla with his beautiful wife and two children.

Raffaele Macchia
Coach Macchia is currently in his 10th year as a coach in the Harrison Baseball Program and 6th year as assistant varsity coach. Coach Macchia graduated from Harrison High School in 2012 where he played baseball for Coach DiRuocco during some of Harrison’s most successful seasons in recent years. He helped lead the 2011 team to the Section semifinals, and in 2012 helped the Huskies win a Section Title beating Byram Hills! The 2012 team went on to a Regional final appearance. Coach Macchia also coaches the Harrison Varsity fall baseball team, helping our student athletes prepare for the spring season. He has Master’s degree in Physical Education at Manhattanville College.
